OnRequest Mobile Clinic Announce Partnership with Baptist Health System

Hospital system to utilize mobile clinic platform to address SDoH, health inequity

OnRequest, provider of flexible mobile clinic services, is partnering with Louisville-based Baptist Health System, Inc. (BHSI) to offer responsive clinical care visits throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. Baptist Health will utilize OnRequest’s mobile clinic platform to host community outreach days beginning in April 2022.

In response to findings from Baptist Health’s 2021 Community Health Needs Assessment, their introduction of dedicated mobile clinics will help improve social determinants of health, offer rural communities more care options, and improve wellness throughout the region.

“Mobile clinical care will be part of your life and visible in your community,” says Kevin McCarron, co-founder and President of OnRequest. “Baptist Health is embracing mobile outreach, and we’re pleased to support their initiative to increase healthcare access, and to bring a creative solution to Kentucky.”

“Everyone has the right to access quality healthcare,” said Sara Stringfield, Director of Community Health and Engagement at Baptist Health Richmond. “Having the opportunity to collaborate with community partners to provide these services for those most in need in our community is an honor for our team.”
In collaboration with Baptist Health Richmond, Baptist Health Medical Group will play an integral role in serving patients through the mobile clinic. Services will include wellness screenings, clinical visits, vaccine hesitancy education and referrals to additional services, including behavioral health.

About OnRequest

OnRequest Mobile Clinic was founded by Humana alum, Buddy Stewart, and Kevin McCarron, a business developer and designer. The two met in 2018 and soon launched OnRequest in 2020.

Stewart and McCarron first explored their mobile clinic solution in response to personal health impacts. They realized that everyone has a family member, a neighbor, or a connection to someone with health conditions that could benefit from onsite care options like OnRequest. Mobile clinics connect with hard-to-reach communities, utilizing technology to broaden a provider’s reach and deliver essential healthcare services. ONR unites the best of in-person clinical practices, technical advancements, and virtual encounters via telehealth – to serve as an effective link between brick-and-mortar facilities and their local and regional communities. ONR provides mobile clinics, logistics, drivers, and full vehicle support for its partners and healthcare providers.
